ABOUT THE COURSE

A network specialist certificate program is designed for individuals who desire entry-level positions in computer networking. While enrolled, students have the opportunity to gain the analytical and technical skills for a variety of professional tasks. These tasks include but are not limited to troubleshooting, testing, maintaining, and safeguarding systems of varying sizes and levels of complexity. These programs are open to applicants who hold a high school diploma or its equivalent.

Network specialists are sometimes able to work from home, but may also travel to see clients in person to solve networking problems. These professionals have to work long hours, or even nights and weekends, to complete their tasks, which are necessary to keep a company running smoothly.
